How long has Englander been in business?
Englander Sleep Products has been a producer of quality mattresses and foundations since it was founded by Max Englander of New York in 1894. In 2002 Englander was purchased by England, Inc. a division of La-Z-Boy. In 2005, a group of Englander licensees collectively purchased the company and are the current owners.

 

Is Englander an American company?
Yes, Englander is an American-owned company. Our headquarters are located in Olive Branch, Mississippi and production is done in modern facilities nationwide using state-of-the-art equipment, processes, materials and techniques.

 

Has Englander adopted ‘Green’ business practices?
Englander practices eco-friendly and environmentally-considerate manufacturing processes. Our factories are energy efficient, recycle as much as possible and our production procedures have been designed to eliminate as much waste as possible and utilize cleaner energy sources. We’re pursuing the use of more earth-friendly packaging alternatives and bio-fuel powered delivery vehicles in the near future.   • Individual 6-turn coils are electronically tempered for the most accurate memory retention performance available.
  • Each coil is compressed and inserted into fabric pockets, to minimize friction and noise while maximizing resiliency. Individual coil design means less partner movement disturbance - a common cause of interrupted sleep.
  • Optimum support is achieved through ergonomically designed posture zones, with support coils in the head, neck, leg and foot regions and heavier support in the critical lumbar region - where most of your body weight is concentrated.
  • Edge firming foam beams expand edge-to-edge comfort.
  • The alternating response coils are electronically tempered for the most accurate memory retention performance available.
  • Each coil responds independently with sensitive initial response and secondary, deeper support as weight increases. This performance feature is build in to the coil design and provides unsurpassed support for every body size or shape.
  • Head to foot helical rows of alternating right-turn and left-turn coils greatly reduce partner disturbance caused from "roll together," while the open offset design virtually eliminates friction for greater resiliency.
